Yes, please. SUSS is a global player and you will be working together with colleagues and customers from all over the world. The basic rule is: Please write the application in the same language as used in the advertisement.

First impressions count and your application is the first impression we have of you. In order to provide a complete picture of your qualifications and interests, the information you give us should be accurate and comprehensive. You can make your application more individual with a personal and well-written letter explaining your motivation for wanting to work for SUSS. You should also attach pertinent documentation such as your curriculum vitae and references. Prepare a PDF and send that instead of many individual files.

You can refer to several positions in your letter of application. It is important to justify why you are interested in each position at SUSS.

You may, of course, send a speculative application and we will check for any appropriate positions. The chances of success for a speculative application increase when you apply for a specific field of work.

Unsolicited Application

Normally you should address your application to the contact person indicated in the job advertisement. If this is not the case, simply address your application to the company to which you wish to apply.

The application documents are treated in strict confidence and are used exclusively for the purpose of the application. After the application process, your documents will be deleted or returned to you.

You can submit an application as long as the position is advertised on our website. The ad will be immediately removed from the website once the position has been filled.

You will receive prompt confirmation by email that we have received your full application. Since evaluation of applications and the selection process take some time, we ask you to please be patient. We will take particular care when reviewing your application and will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of the further course of the application process.

This depends, of course, on the desired apprenticeship. The requirements are described in detail in the respective advertisement. Should you have any queries, you are welcome to call us.

For apprenticeships, an intermediate secondary school certificate or European Baccalaureate is necessary.

In Garching and Sternenfels, we train mechatronics engineers. In Garching, training as an industrial clerk is also offered. Further information can be found on our "Azubi-pages" (German only).

We recommend that you apply around October of the previous year. In general, however, you can apply as long as the position is advertised.

We require your complete application documents. These should include: a covering letter, your curriculum vitae in tabular form, school reports and, if applicable, proof of internships.

Normally, the contact person to whom you should send your application is indicated in the job advertisement. If this is not the case, simply address your application to the company to which you wish to apply. If you are not sure, contact us by telephone and we will be pleased to assist.

We do not explicitly advertise student internships; we do, however, offer them in the divisions depending on capacity. You can therefore proactively apply in Garching or Sternenfels.

Since we primarily train for technical professions, we favor interns for the commercial sector. Business internships require an examination in the respective subject area.
